The students have enjoyed working on Moby Max in particular. If you have access to the internet, your student should be able to use this website from home. The link is located on the right side of this page and it is a great online learning tool. We have just been informed that Compass Learning will again be available to students this year. I will post more information about this as I get it.

The Week of October 5th
Room 21 Newsletter

Our first nine weeks in Room 21 is coming to an end and it has been my pleasure to meet with nearly all of our parents. The students have begun working on writing across the curriculum and we will continue to work on this throughout the year. If you've got a third grade student,  ask them if they can explain the RACE method of writing constructed responses in Math. If you've got a second grader, we've begun working on paragraph writing using topic sentences and supporting details. In addition, all students are continuing to write daily in their journals.

*If you haven't done so already, please send in student pictures and/or money.

Field Trips: Please send in all permission slips (signed by parents and students) and money for field trips together. $9.25 is due for all field trips for the entire school year.
