The Week of September 21
Room 21 Newsletter

Conferences have begun and I have really enjoyed meeting with each of the parents that have come in so far. I am looking forward to seeing the rest of you soon. Some of the topics we are discussing are test scores, work ethic and quality in the classroom, and grace and courtesy.  The first parent/teacher conferences serve as a great opportunity to share any concerns or ask any questions that may have come up since the start of school.

Please familiarize yourselves with the Charles Ellis Montessori Academy Family Handbook that is linked below. It can also be found posted on the right side of the Charles Ellis website.  There is a compact that will be signed at conferences, which goes along with the handbook.

*This week we will be sending home permission slips for all of our field trips for the entire year. Please send in $9.25 in exact change or write a check to Charles Ellis and return with the signed permission slips.

Student pictures are also going home this week. If you choose to purchase the pictures please select a package and return the rest of the pictures to school with payment. If you do not choose to order the pictures just send the entire package back to school intact.

We are accepting any marker that is ready to be thrown out.  Our PTA is sending them in to Crayola for recycling.  Just send them in with your child!

Please bring the family for the Erdkinder (middle school) Sidewalks Arts Festival being held at our school on Friday September 30, 2015!  Details are on the Charles Ellis Website. All proceeds go back to the Erdkinder for field trips.
