Field Trips

The 1st and 3rd grade field trip is scheduled for Tuesday, November 8th. The 2nd grade field trip is scheduled for Wednesday, November 9th. Please make sure that your student is dressed appropriately for the weather and wearing comfortable shoes. These field trips require the students to do some walking.

**If you have not returned your field trip form please do so as soon as possible. 

Khan Academy

I signed students up for Khan Academy over the weekend. I input all of the parent emails so that your student will be able to access this website from home. Your student can use Khan Academy to work on Math skills at home.

PTA READ-A-THON November 1- November 30th

This year, we are hoping to purchase online Science Resources!
Students who raise $100 or more receive a gift certificate to our Scholastic Book Fair in December!

Harvest Feast

Soon I will be sending out a Signup Genius link for our Harvest Feast. I will also be contacting parents that have offerred their assistance with cooking. Please be on the lookout for those emails.

11/8      Election Day-School for ALL STAFF & STUDENTS Make up days

11/8      Field Trip-1st and 3rd Grades

11/9      Field Trip- 2nd Grade11/11     School Holiday – Veterans’ Day
11/11     Parent Education (5:30) and PTA (6:30)
11/18     Dress Down Day - $1 – Pennies for Patients
11/21-22 Hurricane make up days 
11/23-25 School Holidays – Thanksgiving Break 

Upcoming HEALTHY snack weeks for 23 students: 

Some suggestions for snack are: precut fruit (apples, grapes, bananas cut in half, oranges, etc.), precut vegetables with hummus for dipping, cheese and crackers, granola bars or chewies, trail mix, applesauce, hummus and crackers, yogurt or Gogurt, graham crackers…  The purpose of snack is to provide a nutritious energy booster when the students need it.  Please keep in mind the nutritional value when choosing a snack.
