The Week of April 3rd

Weekly Newsletter

GMAS Testing Monday-Thursday
All students will report to Room 21 in the morning. 1st/2nd grade friends will gather materials and go down to the Media Center with Ms. Sonya. Ms. Sonya taught 1st /2nd grade for over 10 years. She is now a 4/5 teacher at Ellis and she will be with our 1st/2nd grade friends Monday-Thursday, while I am testing 3rd graders in Room 21. Students that are in the Media Center will enjoy activities and lessons with Ms. Sonya, Ms. Lisa and Ms. Laura. I have gathered materials for students to continue skill practice while they are not in lessons. P.E. is scheduled every morning for our group and we expect to be back together in Room 21 before noon every day. We will have time for recess and a few lessons in the afternoon.  Although testing will continue April 7th and 10th (with make-ups on the 11th), all lower elementary students will be in their regular classrooms. If you have any questions about this, please shoot me an email.
